Burnaby apartment fire leaves two people with severe burns

Flames erupted from the kitchen of a suite on the seventh floor Monday night. The man and woman inside escaped but were taken to hospital with burns — one person in serious condition, the other in critical. Three other units in the building were evacuated, leaving six to eight people displaced for up to two weeks.
