TMX approval was already factored in to Paris emissions target, fisheries minister says

pipeline

This week on The House we discuss the federal cabinet's decision to approve the Trans Mountain pipeline, again. Fisheries Minister Jonathan Wilkinson explains why it won't derail Canada's plan to meet its Paris targets. Deputy Conservative leader Lisa Raitt stops by to tell us why the Conservatives' newly announced environmental platform is better than what the Liberals have to offer. We also take a look at the Liberals' national dementia strategy by speaking to a family affected by the disease. And we talk to Chief Electoral Officer Stephane Perrault about cancelling a plan to use social 'influencers' to encourage young people to vote.
